Even if you never update this I've got to commend you (and favorite this story) on such a wonderful plot as this one. Though I haven't read many Ranma fics this is one plot that I've only seen tiny parts of. I've seen demons being used, I've seen magic swords being used (a sentient one once) but I've never seen Nabiki summoning demons or the demon only subconsciously/subtly influencing Ranma.

Does the Xiombarg in this fic have any connection to the Lord of Chaos Xiombarg from the Elric series by Michael Moorcock?
