Just fyi (if you write about baseball again) a major league baseball would not have any individual team's logo on it, they just have the stamped signature of the commissioner. they are all indistinguishable from each other from park to park. also, the only reason the stitches would be loose would be if there were and astonishingly hard hit. baseballs used in a game have an average life of nine pitches. if you ever see a game, the ump switches out the balls quite often. usually always after two or three hits, and occasionally if there's a wild pitch, the ump will swap the catcher out once he retrieves the ball. they don't want the balls to get worn, because that affects their flight and could negatively impact the consistency of a game. (i know this for several reasons: a 'how its made' on baseballs, and from living in a bball crazy household. btw, did you know that every baseball used in a game is hand rubbed in river mud(from the Delaware River))
