Thanks so much for this beautiful story! I'm only submitting a review now that I have finished the whole thing. First, I want to praise you for getting the tone of the dialogue so perfectly. Eric and Sookie's voices always rang true, you stuck to cannon as much as you could, and everything felt authentic. I think that's quite an achievement!
I loved the plot, exciting twist etc., but what I loved the most was how you had them really talk things through, and work their issues out like a real couple. I'm well aware that if they hadn't had any difficulties or misunderstandings we wouldn't have any books in the first place! But I always find the misinterpretations and lost opportunities frustrating, so I loved how you had them work through all of that!
Obviously, I'm one of the readers who wants Sookie and Eric to be together. So if it all ends up going south with the novels, I think I will just tack this ending onto Book 8, and convince myself that's what happened!

Just finished this story after reading on it non-stop (in my spare time) for about 10 days. It's been so enjoyable, so great. I've been talking True Blood with a co-worker who's only seen the show, not read the books. He asks questions and I found myself having to really pause and think, "Okay, wait, was that in the books or the fic?" It's that solid. This could so be canon. It would be wonderful if it were. I'm going to go now and look at your works to read the missing scenes and see what comes next, because I'm really curious about what's to become of Victor! Thanks so much for such a great read!

I can not think of enough positive things to say about this story. it was one of the first fanfiction stories I came across and is honestly one of the best ever, not just for its subgenre. I like your mix of your original characters into your work.
