Sharpe's Hussy 2009-11-20 . chapter 1Oh, excuse me while I believe the man with the raging fever and the infected back and the terminal case of optimism, because, hello? still in prison, and medical supplies don't come with room service round here."
So Rodney...in fact all the way through this tale it is typical Rodney, but what is significant here is I actually find him likable, something that is quite amazing...

Jamie Monroe 2009-09-30 . chapter 1 This story was absolutely beautiful, and touching!! I felt like crying a few times, you wrote their characters so well!!
I love how you portray the relationship between Rodney and John, they are definitely my favorite characters, and I'm pretty protective of how they are written. I think you are only the second writer I've found who I am totally satisfied with their Rodney/John portrayal.
I'll definitely be reading more of your writing. :) |
Principessa do morte 2009-08-19 . chapter 1 It's beautiful. I absolutely loved it. Shows just how strong a friendship john and rodney really have. :) fantastic. |
Whirlwind421 2009-06-16 . chapter 1That was brilliant! I love it! The ending was really good! |
rmonroe 2008-11-21 . chapter 1Oh, man, your stories are so incredibly POWERFUL! Absolutely incredible! |
Dollar Short 2008-10-04 . chapter 1Very nice, well written and affecting. I'm glad Edric got his freedom! |
Stargate Groupie 2008-10-03 . chapter 1“The ice cracked elsewhere, and melted out through his eyes.” OMG that line made me want to cry! I love seeing our Atlantis team through someone else’s eyes, you did a wonderful job writing this. |
jasminesmommy 2008-10-02 . chapter 1John and Rodney have the worst luck ever i swear lol :) |
Obsessed Pam 2008-10-02 . chapter 1It wasn't as if he played a major part in this story, really, honestly. And yet, when Shep and McKay were being rescued, just for a moment I was beside myself with anxiety thinking the guy would be left behind. What an idiot I am. The connection you wove between reader and new character was so cleverly made - even now, I'm not quite sure how you achieved it, only that it was strong! |
 godsdaughter77 2008-10-02 . chapter 1Great story! I totally loved it :D |
The 2008-10-02 . chapter 1 A tale nicely told--loved the perspective and how it saw the caring between McKay and Sheppard, which reawakened feelings in our viewer. |
Maryilee 2008-10-02 . chapter 1I love how you showed us this scene through Edric's pov. It brings a whole new dimension to the story. The writing was again, wonderful, as I'm now coming to expect. |
CoolBreeze1 2008-10-02 . chapter 1Wow! I totally loved this. You really know how to write outsider POVs well. Edric's POV doesn't overshadow the fact that the story is about Sheppard and McKay, and you see so much of who those two characters are. I really found myself empathizing with Edric, too, so I'm glad they freed him at the end. |
x Varda x 2008-10-02 . chapter 1I liked it! Interesting to have the perspective on the situation from an outsider. |
Space1Traveler 2008-10-02 . chapter 1Okay, you got me. *crying dollop tears* These prison stories are so sad. Edric's POV is just like a jagged piece of glass in between the finger membranes; it hurts like hell and won't ever mend properly because you forget and keep using your hand. So glad he was released as well. John saw when no one knew he was looking. Thank you. Pass the 9 hankies and read you later...k |
