So Rodney...in fact all the way through this tale it is typical Rodney, but what is significant here is I actually find him likable, something that is quite amazing...

I love how you portray the relationship between Rodney and John, they are definitely my favorite characters, and I'm pretty protective of how they are written. I think you are only the second writer I've found who I am totally satisfied with their Rodney/John portrayal.

It wasn't as if he played a major part in this story, really, honestly. And yet, when Shep and McKay were being rescued, just for a moment I was beside myself with anxiety thinking the guy would be left behind. What an idiot I am. The connection you wove between reader and new character was so cleverly made - even now, I'm not quite sure how you achieved it, only that it was strong!

A tale nicely told--loved the perspective and how it saw the caring between McKay and Sheppard,which reawakened feelings in our viewer.

I love how you showed us this scene through Edric's pov. It brings a whole new dimension to the story. The writing was again, wonderful, as I'm now coming to expect.

Wow! I totally loved this. You really know how to write outsider POVs well. Edric's POV doesn't overshadow the fact that the story is about Sheppard and McKay, and you see so much of who those two characters are. I really found myself empathizing with Edric, too, so I'm glad they freed him at the end.

I liked it! Interesting to have the perspective on the situation from an outsider.

Okay, you got me. *crying dollop tears* These prison stories are so sad. Edric's POV is just like a jagged piece of glass in between the finger membranes; it hurts like hell and won't ever mend properly because you forget and keep using your hand. So glad he was released as well. John saw when no one knew he was looking. Thank you. Pass the 9 hankies and read you later...k
