 speedy856 2009-01-05 . chapter 1Wonderful job! If only this could be the "Wall-E 2"... |
Anonymous 2008-12-29 . chapter 1 Wow, this was really, really good! I liked it a lot, hope there's more! :) |
Axiom 2008-12-22 . chapter 1 This was a pretty good story! It was very well thought out as well! Keep on writing! |
 ArmoredSoul 2008-11-24 . chapter 1Biggest "AW~!" moment of my LIFE, I swear.
TOO DARN CUTE!

bookwormqueen 2008-11-15 . chapter 1Whe! Loved your story. WALL-E and EVE were perfect, and I liked M-O (little neat-freak!). I think you're right about the humans forgetting how to have kids on the ship. Do you have more stories? |
GirlWaterShaman 2008-10-21 . chapter 1Aw...that. Was. So. CUTE! XD *hugs* |
dogman15 2008-10-08 . chapter 1Keep in mind, I'm writing this review before I read any of the other reviews, so I might repeat things other readers have said.
I was planning on commenting on the allusion to Hannah Phillips (Sid's sister) in Toy Story, but you beat me to it.
I like how you referenced the old NANC-E bot from the old (defunct) site; that was clever. Remember GAR-E and SAL-E?
So, in your story, are the humans living in those escape pods now? Those things only have places to sit, a fire extinguisher, and maybe an inflatable raft. I doubt the engines would still be working, and I know there's no kitchen or bathroom.
Did you know that the captain's name is B. McCrea? I like to think the B means Bill.
Those red thing on the reject bots don't just mark them as rejects. (As opposed to the many other BRL-As, HAN-Ss, and PR-Ts aboard the Axiom.) I think the red things can also automatically deactivate a bot (as seen with EVE twice in the film). These red things can also later be removed (or at least fall off), so I don't think they'd still be on after 1-3 years.
Lastly, another bit of trivia. Try to prove me wrong, but I think the only reject bots that can talk (and not just vocalize or make sounds, like VAQ-M, HAN-S, and VN-GO) are the two female bots, PR-T and D-FIB. (D-FIB says "Clear!" and possibly "Oh my" in the film - unless PR-T said "Oh my".)
Good story! I might copy this to Word and print it out for people like my sister who don't use this site. |
wayc 2008-10-04 . chapter 1Of course I read the whole thing. That was a really good story and your grammar, spelling, and knowledge of the English language is also a lot better than what I usually see on this site.
I'm a big fan of Eve and Wall-E love and I also like when people portray their personalities spot-on, as you did. Wall-E was curious and happy and Eve was a bit volatile and bored, but happy to at least be around Wall-e. I also love how she adapted to a motherly role so easily and became the protector and Wall-e is the morale riser. That was so very cute. I had a great laugh at Mo getting rolled over to Hanna and what she did to him. XD Poor thing.
Anyway, this was a real pleasure to read. I hope you write more Wall-E fanfiction in the future. The only thing I think this story was missing, for my taste anyway, was that I wanted to see more cuddling up between Wall-e and Eve, especially at the end. Otherwise, fantastic. XD |
le-chocolat391516 2008-10-03 . chapter 1This was so cute! Such a neat idea! I think you did well in keeping everyone in character. I loved the interaction with the baby and WALL-E and EVE. Especially EVE's "motherly" instincts. Really well done. |
MuchaLuchaAndMe 2008-10-02 . chapter 1I want my own M-O toy to chew on...
So, I've never read any of your stories, and I must say, this one is a doozy. 13 pages? Are you for real? That's seriously awesome. And WALL-E and EVE taking care of a human child has always been a dream of mine to write, so this was fun reading. Though- if anything- the plot itself felt a little fast, if that's even right for me to say about a 13 paged story. I don't know why it did, but it just did.
But yea. This is an instant favorite. I love little kids, so reading about one is a lot of fun. It'd be cool to see me stories with Hannah in it. I like her. She's cute. Although most kids are. |
