Out of the new batch, I liked "Stand" best. I think it's because in the anime they only seem to show their feelings for each other when the other one is UNCONSCIOUS, DYING, whatever (grr!), and it stays true to that.
You can never have too many endings to that duel because the real ending was a cop out: my favourite was "Ever the Same". She couldn't have run off if he actually woke up. I like how you bring in Mai's urge to run away from everything in this one.
"From Where You Are"-gloom, doom, why does nothing ever go right?

"Exit to Exit"- the running again. It was a good idea about where Mai disappeared off to after Doom.

Ch 46- had no idea what it was all about (mecha battles?) but anyway, it was a lot more upbeat.

Okay this Forever Yours (Reprise) was downright scary and disturbing, fortunately at least i think Mai decided to pull back. It's a good thing too, maybe it's just me but I prefer stories where Mai and Jounouchi live happily ever after.
Anyway I'm now here on the site registered and ready to go. And Darkrunner if you get the chance I'd like to invite you to come to the forum I'm a part of RESPECT. It's a safe place where writer's can contemplate stories, chat with fellow writers and fans, and generally be safe from flame wars or any of that nonsense. I think this is a great idea- song inspired one shots. This fic inspired me to try it too and I got some good results :D I love polarshipping too, so reading this was fun.
