Now that I'm done ranting about the Opera house, I can get right to the review. :)

This seems like such a difficult little love story to write, and I don't know how you manage to always keep things believable! The two of them were like magnets repelling each other until they finally got flipped to the right sides at the end. What a complete sucker for happy endings I am, though! Damned if I didn't love this last chapter. If only complicated relationships like this worked out so sweetly in reality... Once again, wonderful work. If you ever decide to go beyond fanfiction and publish work, let me know!

You seriously made me bawl with this chapter. Like, 3 times, legit. Especially when Erik woke up and raoul wasn't there. :( that made my break down. I love the way I am exactly like your Erik. He changed himself so much for raoul and he got kicked in the face. I especially love the way he can't swim in the ocean but he forgot when he ran in for raoul.  I can't swim either... X]  I was bawling like a little girl at the end... I don't know what it was-- maybe it was because Erik was trying so hard but raoul wouldn't believe him... I think it was because I know that I would be just like raoul if I was in his possition. I also know that no matter what I wouldn't break, so I was aticipating a very sad ending. I could relate with both of the characters and that is a magic combination. You have created something really special with this story. Even with just this chapter, I think it would touch people...

I love this story so much. I think it's my favorite out of everything I've read from this fandom. You are one of the best authors that I read from; the best from the Phantom fiction, in my opinion. (mind that that includes all the EC shippers!) 
Just a side note-- the part where Erik is swallowing the sea water and sputtering, I couldn't really tell who was flailing. I got it after I read it again, so I don't think you need to change it :)

God, I'm just blown away by this. I love you!! I know that some people are gonna want a sequal for this, but I don't think it needs one. We just KNOW that Erik is going to stay for the rest of his life. Poor poor raoul... I could feel his pain right from the start.  Brilliant.

I'm so glad that Erik finally managed to convince Raoul. I wasn't sure, for a while, that he would.
Of course now Erik is going to have to devote himself to keeping Raoul convinced. Fortunately, I think he can pull it off.

I'm sorry you're not happy with how it ended. I myself am just happy that neither of them died (although you had me worried there for a second).

Took them long enough and good lord I was going to punch Raoul for a second there. He was acting like a bloody moody emotionally traumatized teenage girl! (I know from personal evidence :D)

Hm...suggestions... I will say maybe adding a mini chapter (I put mini for your poor carpal-tunnel wrists and weary mind) of them being happy together for once after all this junk that happened would be nice. Something sappy and sweet after all the bitter angst. (Maybe Raoul teaching a reluctant Erik how to swim?) Of course if you are wanting to keep it pure angst then I would be satisfied with this ending. I would say to balance it more between the two extremes of cute and sad of their relationship I think that a cute companion is needed after all the doom and gloom near the end. (Credit the ocean scene was a tad sweet and the very last paragraph too but not really enough)

Of course you know I love your work, even after you killed Raoul that one time. So thank you for this wonderful fic and hope you keep on writing and updating! (PS. I will say again, i am so happy you are updating still, I was sad during the hiatus D:)

Hmm. Well, I enjoyed this chapter, and I loved the stable scene...but I wish there had been more. More of what? I don't know. Thanks for updating! And yes, the phantom quotes from your last reply cracked me up! Hope to see more of your other stories soon! And I can't wait for the epilogue/continuation of "Hospital".

Mega cuteness with them chasing each other all over the bed, whilst bumbling around each other in the daylight hours, not knowing how to communicate properly.

Your fic is more realistic in terms of them struggling to get over their prior differences and conflict to be all romantic with each other, but occasionally I did just want them to say 'Sod it' and just hop into bed and forget their troubles.

It's kinda sweet that Raoul realised (and listened to Erik) that Erik was actually going to hunt him down and follow him everywhere in the name of love. But somehow there are some sad/melancholy undertones that I can't quite put my finger on, it feels like something is still slightly unresolved, but that probably suits their situation I guess.

Is the blind!Raoul fic still going ahead?

What a welcome surprise, to return to France/internet connection and find this! What a fluffy chapter. I confess to being a huge fan of good fluff, though I find that purely fluffy stories within this fandom are, for the most part, either crackfics or just bad. So bring on the angst; drama makes the sweet parts all the more saccharine anyway. Thanks for the update! It was worth the wait. :)

By the way, I'm wondering if you have an opinion on this PotO sequel. ALW hasn't let me down yet...but this sequel scares the hell out of me.

I love Erik taking over the bed. I adored his "I only want the bed when you're in it"! How romantic...without losing character...is that?! Raoul is just so frustratingly, purposely blind. I find myself wishing that Erik could hear Raoul's thoughts, but then it wouldn't be realistic. I adore this story. Hope to see more very soon! :)
