For a short fic, this is very heart felt. The whole thing flowed pretty smoothly, and the ending was also beautifully succinct. I very much enjoy the bridging of characteristics between Netra and Shifu; it makes it very easy to relate to what the characters are going through and what they feel when they discover the little one.

This is new and good. Really good. I love the description that you've done here. It's amazing. Shifu had something to do with this but I'm not sure of how it does or it happens. It must be fate or something else. Maybe Oogway had a hand in this, who know. The cub was nice and cute and cuddly, both at the same time. Aww... something to teach the five and Po what is love and how to raise something. I guess there really ain't no accident after all. It's all in our heads as well.

Netra is a name in what? In chinese or some other phrase? I was wondering where you got that from. Is it Cantonese or Mandarin? Just asking a plain question.
