This is my favorite fic I have ever read. I've read it a few times now, and I keep finding more and more things the I love about it. I love that Nathan rushed home to see Haley and Jamie and that when he finally saw them curled up in bed together, he couldn't even form any words and didn't know what to say to Haley. And it was so sad that Haley was blaming herself and I liked how Nathan brought her away from the bed to sit down so he could reassure her that none of it was her fault. And I loved how when he first tried to get her out of the bed, she said she didn't want to, because it shows just how protective she is of Jamie. She is so motherly. I loved the part where Jamie woke up and I love how Nathan and Haley answered his questions and I love how naive and innocent Jamie's questions were. I think you captured the aftermath of that traumatic event perfectly and it's such a shame that we didn't get to see anything like this on the show. It's always so annoying how the show skips over big things like this, because obviously Haley and Jamie would have been traumatized by this, but of course there was barely any mention of it. Anyways this was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much for writing it.

That was so cute! So I want to apologize in advance because usually my reviews are pretty long but I'm completely beat today and it's evening time where I am. Anyway... I think that it's going to be depressing when we watch next episode and we won't get anything like this because Schwahn hates our fanbase. (*sigh*). So sad, so sad. But this was adorable. I can see Nathan speeding to get to Jamie and Haley. And I felt really bad for Haley for feeling to blame. I understand where she was coming from but I'm glad Nathan made her realize. I really liked that she was sandwiched between her two boys. May Jamie always be dependent on Haley! haha... it was just really cute that Jamie NEEDED her. I'm completely in-love with HJ so that's why... lol. I think it's very motherly of Haley to want to be with her son that night instead of staying at the hospital. Very brave too! One of my favorite parts here was that Haley went to Jamie before Nathan even saw his stir. Such a motherly instinct! That thing at the end was sad regarding where Carrie is now. I loved how you incorporated Uncle Keith. Plus, that explanation is very suited for a five year old. I loved it :D. Thank you so much! And like the people talking about this on the spoiler thread said... you DEFINITELY did this justice. Write for the show would you please? :D

That was really heartfelt and emotional... I've missed reading your work. As much as I'm loving the way Naley are in this new season, i wish they could just be a happy little family without all this death and drama... but that's tv. I couldn't help but chuckle at your little dig about the 'overdramatic soap opera' qualities... I do love your subtlety. ;) Thanks for sharing this with us hon. :)

I loved it. Perfect... I know that we will not get to see the aftermath when Nate finds out... we always miss those moments (limo aftermath anyone?)
but this was the next best thing. I could just see Haley and Jamie curled into a tight ball, Haley scared to take her eyes off of his face... goosebumps!

That was really good. I can just picture nathan trying desparately to get home to haley and jamie. The image of haley and jamie clinging to each other was really sad. Haley blaiming herself and nathan trying to reassure her that none of it was her fault was so believable.
If only this is how it could play out in the next eppy, but knowing mark there will be no mention of the whole crazy nanny sl.
Instead peyton's daddy not showing up to dinner will be front and centre.

Dawnie, this is absolutely amazing and you did a fantastic job of capturing and conveying Nathan and Haley's emotions. I can definitely picture Haley blaming herself for, firstly, bringing Carrie into their lives and then putting Jamie in danger by taking him to see Dan.

I loved how Nathan did his best to reassure her and make her understand just how wonderful a mother she is. The scene when Jamie woke up was just love and I really wish we could've seen something like it at the end of the episode.

If we get a scene in next week's ep even half as good as this, I'll be a very happy bunny indeed!

I absolutely loved how you captured each charachters emoitions, so raw and real and beautiful. You had me biting my lip and reading as fast as I could, something that doesn't happen often. I just didn't want it to end. I love it, and I love your writing!
