Wah! That was so sweet... especially the ending... an interesting pairing as well. I think you'd be a very good author for angsty, too, even if this writing didn't really have too much of that (thankfully).

Wow! This was fantastic and two characters I'd have never thought with each other. At first I was just pleased someone was writing about Birman, then it turned out to be so much more! And that scene at the end said a lot without having to blurt it out loud, and that's a sign of a good writer. This was really imaginative, and a really interesting read!
