I love what you have going here. I might have a bit more familiarity with amnesia, as I have studied it in my psychology classes, but I do have to say that you are doing an excellent job of protraying retrograde amnesia.

Hey nice to see some of Holmes's personality still in there somewhere :) Loved the part where Watson gives him the Strand Magazine stories !! If Holmes's memory does come back i am sure he will be swatting Watson over that ! LOL But poor Watson has had a hard time of it has'nt he. i do hope if Holmes's memory does come back he can give some comfort to Watson :)

Even if it is short, you know how to warm up our appetite for more quite nicely. I LOVE the last few sentences, where Watson is over-explaining things to Holmes, and Holmes' subsequent reaction. I can't wait to see more of the process of Watson trying to restore Holmes' memory. I have a feeling it will be rather interesting.
