I'm not into ShiShi, but I figured I'd read this for the heck of it. I must say that I'm quite impressed! The angst Ash felt was suitable for his character -- it was emotional, but not morbid, and with an adolescent tone. Gary was also in character.

The truth is that I cannot picture Ash in a relationship. He just doesn't seem like the type to me. However, if he was, I bet it'd resemble the one in this fanfic.

This is the first GaryxAsh fic I've read and I must say I'm impressed. Angsty Ash is awesome. :) And of course, I adore Gary. He is amazing.
