Aw! Poor Sammy!(but I'd still like to smack him! lol) Dealing with being a teenager is hard enough, but dealing with it while feeling so claustrophobic, confused, and scared of how he's changing is just unbearable. This fic was NICE! It makes his desertion of Dean and going to Stanford far more palatable to think that one of the reasons he left was to actually protect Dean, instead of leaving for purely selfish reasons.

(It about broke my heart when Dean woke up and smiled at Sammy! That just so VERY Dean!)

I would love to read more from this time. It's been Quite A While since I was that age, but you put me right in Sam's skin, totally understanding his state of mind. You're a professional writer, right? Just slumming around here for practice? It must be so. If your betas are ever busy, or you just need a final proofread, I'd be honored. Just sayin. I really gotta go clean my house now.

Now that's what you call Sammy angst! I loved the sudden change from pissed at Dean to 'oh my god what have I done!' when he cracks his head. Nice idea that this is the reason he goes off to Stanford too.
