Great to see you continue this story. I for one have no idea where it is leading so look forward to the next installment with baited breath!

I can't wait for the next installment.

I do wonder if Grant knew about his sister's survival after the bank fraud or if he only knew after Anna's will came out.
Also, how did Mare get away after her mother was killed?
It might be interesting, even ironic, if Mare has stronger emotional capacity/conscience than her parents did as well as being less egotisical. Hopefully she won't carry herself like a robot (like Daddy did). Also, she seems just a bit too perceptive for a 6 year old.

I hope there is another chapter coming soon. I'm dying to know what happens next! :)

I like this story very much, I do hope there is more coming.
Also, I hope I don't offend, but the name Mare reminds me of a horse.
I had once thought of the name Clare Avon or Kiera Avon. Does either name appeal to you?

You really must stop confusing "seized" (meaning "to grab") with "cease" which means "to stop."
Otherwise this is a fascinating story.

I reaaly like the way the story develops. Always thought Avon had a paternal streak.

Great story - wanting more please!
