This is such a sad fic.

When Susan and Peter were told they were no longer able to come back to Narnia they were instructed to seek Him (Aslan) in their own world. While this was a great story, and really fleshed out the possible motivations involved in Susan's choice it leaves her without redemption at the end, something I always hope for when I see a Susan fic. Bottom line is she was wrong to choose her parents over Aslan no matter how well intentioned her motives.

Matthew 10:37

"He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."

I sincerely hope that in her time of trial Susan was met by someone from the Lord who was able to guide her back into the fold.

I have considered Susan in many different ways, and I still can't decide esactly what I think about her. The books are so vague on her motivations, that one can only go on the fact that she had abandoned Aslan. But I'd never considered the fact she might have abandoned him for her parents. This is a vey interesting way to consider her situation, and I'm glad you wrote about it.

Wow. How very sad! Very clever too. I've thought about Susan's situation quite a bit, why she pretended not to believe in Narnia and all of that. This is a very interesting take on it.

A brilliant take on why susan abandoned narnia and so realistic when you look at it from te parents point of view of feeling pushed out. Great job maybe put a weepy warning in the summary tho :)
