forever and three more seconds
2009-12-04 . chapter 1
This is really good (and slightly scary). The one issue I have is at the start - I don't think you clarified enough. Yes, major nitpicking, I know. I just think it doesn't make enough sense, especially when compared to the masterful way you handled the rest of the story. Doesn't James (whatever his behaviour towards other women) really love Lily in this story? And Sirius probably is brave enough (in a bad way) to be in Gryffindor if he is deliberately trying to spite his parents at age eleven. I never saw Remus as being Dark in any way, but the emphasis on his disease explains that well enough for me - perhaps it twisted his mind? I love the word 'twisted'. I think they should have killed Pettigrew. I hate him. Ironically, I don't think they should have killed Severus. Why didn't they kill the rat (by all accounts useless) and keep the intelligent Potions Master (perhaps under Imperius?)so he could make the Wolfsbane for them and stuff like that?
Okay, that looks like a very long complaint about practically nothing, but, hey, that's something I'm good at. I did love the story, and agree with a lot of your profile comments (except the one about Dumbledore because I don't think he 'forgot' anything, I think he was talking through something not designed for that purpose. He's clearly a lying, manipulating bastard who wants to carry on controlling Harry from beyond Death) Albus Severus is icky?! What about Scorpius?! Is JKR trying to prejudice us against blondes or something?
If you keep writing, you'll have something worth publishing eventually, I'm sure. In the mean time, what you're producing here is great.

This was really very well done. I liked how you showed that the Marauders aren't always pure Light, and you really did well with what their emotions and actions could have been if things had gone differently.

Pure excellence, if I do say so myself. Nice to see that what appears on the surface might actually be what's there on the inside.

Thanks for sharing!

Wow... an interesting concept executed (pardon the pun) to perfection. Is it an idea that you would continue?

meeting of two ‘equals’, but not ‘two of a kind’.

Yeah...Dark Marauders fic. I have to say while spoked out a bit I also love this. This is actually either the second or third Dark Marauders fic I've ever read and well...*shiver* I loved it. The last line was also wonderful.

Wow, absolutely fabulous.

Any chance of you continuing this by following Harry's upbringing?

Hardcore! This was awesome, and you're totally right about their capacity for vicious ruthlessness.
Excellent job!

If only someone would pick it up.
Nevertheless, that was very satisfying. c:

Wow...I love it. It seems like what would have happened had Moldyvort hadn't killed James. Applause given to you for good descriptions and accurate characters. I'm not sure if Remus would have been too happy about killing a person in werewolf form, but if he were upset enough then maybe. James lost to greif...summed up well. Finally there's Sirius, who has a bad temper at the best of times. Gotta love the Marauders.

Brilliant. Completely. I read the summary and while it sounded good, I thought I wasn't in the mood for it but out of boredom, read it anyway. I don't regret the decision at all! Going into favorites, and I hope there's a nice, long Harry-centric sequel in the future.
