I'm pleasantly surprised that you seem to have all the characters personalities down pat. L's is perfect and precise, Light's is well rehearsed and intelligent so far, Ichigo's and Rukia's (although not mentioned in this chapter) are impulsive and brash (on Ichigo's part) and collective and analytical (on Rukia's), and the small glimpses of Hinamori's nervous uncertainty, Rangiku's carefree but underlining intelligence, and Hitsugaya's stoic manner are superb. All in all, they're pretty much perfect to the core so far. This is simply a stunning piece.

I hope Near makes more appearances. Despite the criticism his character got in the DN series, he played a vital role to it in bringing an end to Light and Kira and finishing what L had started. I hope you write more about his character and this is a pleasure to read! :D

Poor Ichigo. It's so much like his character to feel wounded and worthless when he's not of use to the SS. This is spectacular so far!

Finally, Aizen makes his move! :D I have to admit that when I saw the chapter, I thought, "oh no... not a... a note!" But instead you made my day. And there really is a deficiency in Momo roles... as long as you do her character justice, you'll have only praise from me.

I really like this story. It's intelligent unlike a lot of the other stories here and I like how well you blended the two story-lines. All in all, good job! I can't wait for the next update. :D

I really like this story (hopeful tone) I had been looking for something like this, and I found a good one in "Fragments."

I enjoy how you create L's ghost life, his thouhts and mannerisms are pretty solid so far.

And the third chapter was not bad at all. It's a filling-out chapter, needed for fleshing the story.

O! I like! I can't wait to read what will happen next...
