I usually don't read hetero fanfiction, but this was truly beautiful. I believe you capture Edward's essence perfectly.

This was a lovely completion of their wedding night, which in StepheniYour e's story, of course was a fade to black. You wrote this with much attention to detail, yet in a moving and tender way. Edward, of course covers himself with sackcloth and ashes. But then we know Edward is still a vampire who cannot allow himself to see any good in himself. At times it gets tiresome, like I wish I could step into the story and smack him on the back of the head, lol, and tell him to stop with the melodrama. But then that would not be Edward. Your description of their lovemaking is explicit without being vulgar, as lovemaking between husband and wife should be. I enjoyed this very much, it was well written, and if she was so inclined, SM could not have written this scene any better. Thank you Rachel Garber

Oh this is so lovely, I have read many B and E stories, most of them as lovers, maybe hating each each other at first, but becoming lovers, I have read BDSM where there is still love between them, but truly,the canon story, and the detail of their first night together, which of course was only alluded to in the books and movie, but this this is beyong so lovely, their love, their wedding night and both of them experiencing this for the first time, this is so beautifully written, Thank you, Rachel Garber

Vixen Please tell me that you are going to continue with your pov of Breaking Dawn from Edward's eyes! I don't know how I missed this tale but I am berating myself that I did. Please continue with the writing and let me know if you have anymore of Edward's pov stories.

I am often prone to hyperbole, saying that "I love" something when I mean that "I really like" it.

But Vixen...This is THE BEST B&E love scene I have ever read, BAR NONE.

Your ability to maintain Edward's stream of consciousness during their lovemaking, to balance his awareness of her pleasure with his own sensations, to express his yearning to possess her with his need to protect her, and to articulate every facet of his complex emotions was truly MASTERFUL.

The way you took your time with this, giving us the second-by-second, play-by-play...I was in awe.

And in the midst of their passion, he observes: "Feeling that intense disappointment woke me from my place of sickening pleasure. She was oblivious to my pain, completely absorbed with the feelings her feeble human body were enduring that she could not see any part of my agony. I felt isolated, tortured."

That was heartbreakingly sad. For you to include those feelings in the midst of his arousal was stunning.

I am working on the next chapter of my AU New Moon story, Serenity's Prayer. And you can bet your sweet buns that I will rec'ing this two-shot at the end. Because a story this darn good needs to be more widely read.

I found this story two years ago without even looking for it...it was my first fanfic and romance story, and I love it now just as much as I did when I first became a fan of Twilight!

You have a spectacular gift for writing. I've only ever read one fanfic with as much lust, romance, and...rewarding aftermath as this one ; ) What a sheer delight to have read, and found again! Really, words can't describe. One of the best fanfic's out there. Brava!
