The story’s so raw and human and real you just can’t help but feel the depth of it. For me, it’s usually hard to find a story that doesn’t stray into the more idealistic, fiction side (guilty as charged -grins unrepentantly- ) and finding this one is like a gem.

Your characterisations are so human that I can’t help but love and hate them at the same time. I loved Sakura for the fact that she wasn’t a simpering gutless fangirl but someone who can look out for her own without turning into some bionic wonder woman. My absolute favourite line: ‘For once, Sakura wanted to be selfish because she was human and every human deserved to be selfish, once in a while.’

Sasuke isn’t all that perfect because yes, he is quite the selfish little brat even in the actual anime/manga and how both his selfishness and Naruto’s obliviousness had hurt Sakura was…RAWR.

It’s a great story that builds up plot through emotional development and great characterisation. Good job.

I liked the realism you put into this story. For once, Naruto and Sasuke were just a couple of average guys who happened to be best friends and fell in love. Sometimes I get bored of always seeing Sasuke at least being portrayed as so polished and perfect.

Your structure has a "comfort" to it, laissez-faire sentences that belie the firm direction behind them.

I've never encountered this classic triangle without victims before, you handled them so exceptionally delicate and deep.

There's no balcony scene. The fact they are aware each other's physical quirks (also - on top of their emotional and mental baggage) speaks of truth and not some rose-coloured view, which compounds your picture of love - sthing subconcious, irrepresible and gradual...and it's both realistic and hopeful.

Halfway through the chap have an appt to rush off to but I trust my boys in your hands lol. There are some really wicked "shout outs" here too Longfellow, Austin, Frost, booyah! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Cannot believe I hadn't read this before now...CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE REST!

You have no idea how much I am appreciating this story. The seriousness, the relationships, the delemas, and the non-glorfied truth of sex and making out. ...for the record I am still a virgin, but I had made-out before, and this fic really does do it justice...it's not all rageing hormones, glossy, and erotic.

hey, you wrapped it up nicely, it isn't rushed or anything, and I can't really tell that you're not into Naruto these days. I very much liked the first section, with Naruto and Sasuke sitting next to each other and just being close, you know?
The conversation with Sakura was really good, especially from Sakura's POV.
I thought your not quite perfect sex scene was very true to the fic, and I would have been incredibly disappointed if you'd followed the usual surprise discovery of prostate, bottom comes first blah blah thing that always happens, so I'm glad you didn't.
Although, I did think the lube came out of nowhere. Naruto just suddenly had it, does he carry it around with him?

The way that Sakura was revising while Naruto and Sasuke were having sex was kinda amusing, but I did think her section really closed the story, and kept it as a three person story, rather than just NaruxSasu, you know?

Waah, but I'm a bit sad it's over :(

even though i get a sense of impending doom as i always anticipate the worst, up until now this has been so lovely to read. i didn't even intend to read fic at all and i was bumming around LJ and saw the summary. but... it has all the stuff i love about naruto and sasuke when they're just being... close friends. well, and more. but anyway. i like this kind of dynamic. naruto thinks so much though it almost gives me a headache. but i really liked how they got together. i guess i should feel bad for sakura but i don't and i suppose that says something in that naruto hasn't told her yet. technically he's doing stuff with sasuke and still dating sakura. i'm surprised sasuke's... okay with that. but i dunno. maybe he just assumes naruto'll take care of it. it's kind of unfair.

but it's not like i'm THAT upset for sakura. especially because i felt so... bad for sasuke for a while, to have all those feelings... argh. i was gonna say i liked that naruto wasn't oblivious about it but... well, he was and wasn't. he pretended to be at least, so i dunno, maybe it is odd that naruto only now came to the conclusion sasuke was in love with him in that instant he left sasuke's place... cuz it seemed he did sort of know but didn't wanna tell himself. was it really a shock? but anyway... i liked that he went back because he just... wanted to. it was very naruto-ish. and the kiss... gah. i figured someone would interrupt. better itachi than sakura tho. and then... all that making out was so lovely. no one writes make out scenes, i swear, but i think it's better than smut personally. it was so good. then when sasuke came over, and how that went about... it seemed like it could really happen that way. not real awkwardness other than... what should be expected. i love how sasuke was just like: let me take care of it. i about drooled all over myself at that. and what naruto was thinking about... wanting to KNOW it was sasuke... so asking him to kiss him was... incredibly hot to me... i'm scared to read the rest so i'll wait until i wake up. ah i like it so much though!
