Madhatter1981 1/4/13 . chapter 1Isn't bamboo wood? Would like to see what the other members of Mythbusters would think of this fic. Mad. |
anon 1/30/11 . chapter 1 Pretty sure it /has/ to be wood. Riley once staked Spike with a plastic stake (woodgrained to look real). Not sure why he avoided killing Spike (beyond character sheilds), but he did terrorize him a bit with that. The plastic fake-stake to the heart didn't dust Spike at all. Icycles would probably fail as well. Point too brittle and not wood. Now, if Andrew wanted to test a Grant style decapitation machine with a bamboo blade. That would work. Decapitation doesn't care about material or method. Also, Bamboo has a hollow center. Hard to carve a point in it. At least one with a practical slope to it. |
Lucinda 10/20/08 . chapter 1Bamboo? Huh, I wondered for a few moments if it might be paper... Very amusing. I can see that show causing interesting reactions. and remember, Don't try anything that you're about to see at home. Ever. Except for the phone-book myth (effectively confirmed.) |
