Oh wow! Jim wishes so bad, and Silver would probably deny it if he heard the words from Jim's lips. A complicated pair those two are. If Silver was to bring it up, he would be very vague about it and James would never have the guts to repeat a line from the book to Silver so it would never be resolved.
