I love this fic! I think you're doing a good job with it being realistic and heartfelt. I love how Severus and Albus looked like they wanted to rip Vernon Dursley into very small pieces. ;)

(And boy, do I understand drama!)

I also think it's pretty interesting that Lily asked Minerva about blood sacrifices. I've seen Harry-with-a-lisp once before (the poor baby!), but that was something I had not seen. Points for originality!

I really enjoy stories of this theme and it seems that you might be taking this in a different direction than others like it. However, I think you could really benefit from getting a beta-reader. You have quite a few grammar issues, most notably verb agreement and syntax. I saw in another review that someone offered to beta for you, but just so you know I am also available. I would suggest simply getting a beta reader. I found some typos and such, but honestly don't feel like going back to find them to point them out.

If you need a beta reader, I'm willing to serve if you're interested, just know I have college in the fall and it may take a few days for me to return the part to you.

Anyway, other than the typos, good part, glad they got Harry out of there and he knows he's safe. Hope they realize the obvious concerning who should watch over Harry now before the Ministry tries to get involved.
