I finally got around to reading this.. It's been sitting in my e-mail box begging to be read. This was a very interesting take on their relationship. Great concept and I'm glad I finally got to sit down and read it.

Geez, I feel sorry for all the head-trips Inuyasha has to undergo with Kagome. Nonetheless, their relationship is always so well-rendered in your stories; I especially like how it takes place in present tense to make it feel like it's actually happening.

Good play on the "beloved" concept.

it's almost like trying to comprehend and then explain the concept of string theory in interdimensional time travel, or why the tardis is bigger on the inside.

excellent points and such an unconditional love. she never really had any basis for feeling inadequate and inferior to a part of her whole. yasha no longer needs to fear his feelings or responses. one always believed that there was more to kagome than kikyo's recycled soul.

A-w-w-w-w-! Kagome's perceptiveness of his befuddlement is so endearing! It was so sweet how the beads responded to the original intended subjugation. Neat!

I don't agree that this is where sensei Takahashi would have taken it, but that's why it's fanfiction, isn't it? It's well portrayed and well-written. (Maybe the reality is a bit too close to home for me.)

It makes sense; I just don't like the "we" business. I'd just as soon let the clay-pot rest and let InuYasha move on to be free to be totally devoted to the one that's been totally devoted to him.

Emotionally-befuddled. Now isn't THAT just an appropriate and adorable phrase for dog-boy. :) Although I felt odd reading the 'us' and 'we' versus the 'I' and 'me' when referring to Kagome and Kikyo.

Hm...I need new adjectives...your stories are getting too good for 'awesome' and 'cute'. Bah! So...

Nice story! Was Kikyo really the one who made the bead necklace (apparently, I missed that part...) Good job overall, I was a little thrown off by your use of "sussurates", I don't think I've ever seen that used in fanfiction before.

Personally, I don't know if I believe in the Kikyo-merging-with-Kagome "we are one" idea, but you pull it off rather believably. Good job portraying Inuyasha's pain and guilt and dilemma! )
