That was lovely! I have to admit that I'm not exactly a fan of Castiel on the show but your story idea was so intriguing that I couldn't help but read it nonetheless; and I'm glad I did.

I really enjoyed how you twisted the idea of religion around and elevated the brother's lives to a whole new level. And I'm especially glad that you didn't condemn Sammy although Castiel hasn't shown particular fondness of the younger Winchester as of yet. Sammy is powerful but despite his tainted soul has good intentions, and Dean will ensure that his little brother won't stray from the path.
