One of the most poetic short song-fics I've read. I almost cried at how well it mixes with the song. Adam Young would be proud, and I hope he might one day read this story, because it fits Konan perfectly. YAY FOR OWL CITY FANS!

So, I supposed I should review this, since

A)I'm writing a Konan/Pein piece for you,

B)This would be the 105th review I've ever typed and

C)It's nearing one in the morning, and I'm bored.

I loved the summary, it's so profoundly eerie and yet, so cutting. Your colour theme is beautiful and she contradicts herself so nicely by hating colors to ultimately love rainbows composed of all colors.

I can't say I was well aquainted with Pein and Konan, but I enjoy a good challenge, so I decided to write that, but yours gives good insight into their past, their present and perhaps their future. The fact that this completely revolves around Konan's perspective with Pein as her mate, only shows that you have an inate love for writing the female persona.

But you are an Ino freak, so that's not surprising.

You know what's funny, you said Konan hates black, but if you were to draw a rainbow of colors on paper together, they make black or a REALLY dark murky brown. I love contradictions, really. They remind me of myself.

Very sad at the end, cousin. You come out with a lot of disturbing stuff, sometimes. But even so, it was sad, but I found it stragely sweet how just Pein could make her change her view of so many things she hated, like the colours of the rainbow.
