Well, that was made more fluffy by a song I was listening to, but, I think it was a thoroughly satisfiable ending. Imma go read the sequel now!

For some odd reason, when I read that part where Optimus powered up, Celion Dion (is that how you spell her name?) ran through my head:"That power of lo-ovvvve!"

That was a good chapter.

There was one sentence that confused me a bit:

Scavenger nodded his thanks before turning to Jetfire, who looked up and nodded towards him, only body langue was all the Vice Commander could muster to due to his throat aching after sitting there on the floor for hours without having a drink of Energon to take away his aches and pains.

But I read it a couple of times and made sense of it.

Other than that, it was nice seeing Hot Shot curl up next to Prime in an adorable way.

I'm not sure if all Decepticons are programmed to be stoic and emotionless. Perhaps it depends on which continuity they are in.

Anyhoo, I really like how you described the emotionally tensed scenes here. Very good. I always wondered if Optimus Prime had that special someone in any series. Wait, the key word is 'had.' Ah well, at least he rescued his son, so to speak.

Onto the next chapter!

Another very cute chapter. I felt sorry for the kids at first when Optimus was going to punish them by banning them from the base for two weeks. But, I was happy to read that he took pity on them and instead decided to allow them to continue coming to the base, but ban them from helping the Autobots to search for Minicons instead. At the beginning, I thought Optimus was being too hard on the kids. After all, they are just that...KIDS...and kids are always bound to make mistakes. I'm a great believer in the old saying that everyone makes mistakes and often the greatest lessons in life are learned from mistakes. So, I'd like to think that Optimus realized that the kids had learned from their mistake of not doing proper baby - sitting and decided to go easy on them.

Anyway, moving on, LOL! I liked this chapter very much...especially the part were Optimus was giving Hot Shot a bath. But, poor Hot Shot getting an egg shell stuck inside his knee cap. That sounds REALLY painful! That's probably the same as getting a piece of glass stuck inside a human's knee cap.

But, if Hot Shot was really that eager to have a farting contest, couldn't he have chosen to do that BEFORE having his bath? LOL!

Once again, what can I say? EXCELLENT chapter. Very heart - warming. Plenty of touching moments. Just gorgeous.

I'm glad it didn't take long for Hot Shot to adjust to his temporary new form and I'm glad that, even as a sparkling, he can still think like an adult and realizes what's going on around him. It's really good to know that, even as a sparkling, he is still capable of fully - understanding what Optimus and the others are saying to him.

Wonderful chapter. I shall read on and give you more reviews very soon.

I don't care what you say...this chapter was SO CUTE! I loved this chapter even more than the first one. D'you know something? I have another very good friend who's also a writer on the fanfiction website and every time she updates one of her stories, each chapter is always so much better than the last. I know it's gonna be exactly the same with this one...every chapter that I read is going to be even better and more enjoyable than the last.

Anyway, this chapter was very cute. I felt such warmth in my heart during the scenes where you described Optimus' early feelings of fatherhood towards Hot Shot. I laughed at the end of the story where Hot Shot didn't want to see his reflection after finding out he had been turned into a sparkling, seeing his reflection and then screaming, LOL!

Good chapter. Onto the next one now, LOL!

Okay, Spiritimus Prime...I have just read the first chapter to what I KNOW is going to be a beautiful and heart - warming story and I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed every word of it. I felt sad as I read the part where Thrust had been used as a test subject and was turned into a sparkling. Just imagining the scene in my head of the Decepticons laughing at a frightened and sad baby sparkling just pulled a heart - string inside me in a painful way. That's so cruel to laugh at a baby, but hey...they ARE Decepticons and Decepticons are cruel.

As for the rest of the story, I found it especially easy to understand and relate to the story during the part where Optimus Prime and Hot Shot are searching the forest for another minicon. I've seen the episode where they had a fight in the forest and Optimus ordered his men not to fire because he didn't want the forest to be harmed, due to the effects it would have on global warming. Nice trip down memory lane there.

Very good first chapter. Now, I'm going onto the next one. I've just GOTTA find out what Optimus is gonna do now with a baby Hot Shot to deal with, LOL!

Aww, my GOD! That was SIMPLY ONE OF THE MOST ADORABLE chapters to your story that I have EVER read in my whole entire life!

I'm gonna be honest with you, Spiritimus Prime, I have actually read this chapter MANY TIMES before now and I am truly sorry that it's taken me up until now to review to it. I simply love the story you've written on the father and son relationship between Optimus Prime and Hotshot and I, for one, must disagree with what you said in your notes about Optimus being out of character with the tickling. I most certainly do not believe that Optimus Prime was out of character at all as I can TRULY SEE Optimus behaving like this towards a sparkling (and a human) that he has bonded with. In real life, many fathers and mothers tickle their children as a form of bonding and a sign of playfulness, love and affection towards their young.

EVERYONE see Optimus Prime as a father figure. So, I'm sure he would treat his sparklings no different to human parents.

I just LOVE your stories about Optimus Prime and I love the detail of emotion you put into your stories. It's one of the things that I can relate to as a writer myself. Please, feel free to put more tickling scenes between Optimus and a sparkling in your stories. You know I love em, LOL!

But, like I said, I simply love the emotion you put into your stories. The part at the beginning of this chapter where you had Optimus crying while hugging Hotshot and the tears rolling down his nose onto Hotshot's head...a TRULY TOUCHING scene to behold!

I'm gonna be honest with you, I have never read your story of "Little Shotty" all the way through before. This chapter and the last chapter when Hotshot becomes a full - grown adult again are really the only chapters I've ever read of this story. However, today I am going to begin reading this story from the first chapter and as I do so, please expect many more reviews from me to come.

Keep up the WONDERFUL story writing. I love it.

When Hot Shot first became a Sparkling, I was shocked. But seeing Optimus take Hot Shot under his wing didn't surprise me, because I had a feeling that Optimus would do something like that.. Even more so because, in a way, Optimus always watched over Hot Shot as if he was his own youngling. )

The father-son bond that developed into something more as the story went on warmed my heart. I was also heart broken when it had to end, but just like Hot Shot and Optimus, I too am hoping that after the war they can have their father-son relationship again.

Optimus kinda scared me when he lost control over himself when Megatron hurt Hot Shot, but then I understood what happened from Optimus' POV. I probably would have done the same as well, if something like that happened in real life.

And sorry if somethings don't seem like they fit in this review, I have not read "Little Shotty" in a while... But I do remember finishing it, at least! XD
