HAH! I was rolling on the floor with this one. It's fantastically funny and I love all the tension between boys and girls, new and experienced, officers and enlisted, marines and AF. Great job.

I can't wait for the next story. I love the snarkiness and friendship and seeing how these relationships and friendships are slowly building or deepening. Dee and the Doc have completely sucked me in and I hope we'll see more soon with them. Of course I am already 100% hooked on Tom and Maureen. MORE! PLEASE! I adore this series.

Question: why isn't this and your other stories posted up on LJ?

I'm also pestering Eva about the current lack of a Cadman_Lorne comm on LJ and how someone should start one but she says she's not tech savvy enough. Of course I'm not either. A comm is needed and someone should start one (hint, hint). LOL.

Das ist echt eine liebe Geschichte. Naja, lieb ist jetzt nicht das richtige Wort, nicht wirklich das, wonach ich gesucht hab. Also ich find die beiden "Minor Characters" geschichten echt super! Die Charaktere sind gut entworfen, tiefgründig etc. Alles was man so von OCs verlangt^^. Ich hab wirklich meinen halben Abend damit verbracht, deine genialen Geschichten zu lesen, obwohl ich eigentlich wirklich was zu tun gehabt hätte :D Aber was soll's . Fesselnde Geschichten tun einem sowas schon mal an.
Ich freu mich auf ein Update!

Hah! The driving scenes were hilarious. I love their different POVs and what they each thought of the same things. My heart broke a little when she asked about Dee. Great angst. I also love the little hints of Maureen's nervousness to go to Tom's place. I adore those two together and can't wait to see how they get to how they are in Protect and Survive.

About Mallozzi, I forgot to add it in my review for Show the World but I do not think he was talking about Lorne. I'm thinking it's Kanaan in Prodigal or Zelenka. Have hope and remember that no one ever really dies in scifi!

I love the idea of them living together and the guys panicking over them getting closer to gang up on them and talk about them. Hilarious that Tom picks up on this possibility immediately and Dee has to be beaten over the head with it.

I love the banter and how he's now calling her "kid and wanting to ruin their girls' night. The bit about he and O'Neill not being morning people is a scream. I laughed out loud at "the middle of the night." His boredom and bugging them is incredibly O'Neill like. Maureen and Tom have such interesting tension and angst between them. I am enjoying it immensely.
