OMG this is amazing! You cannot possibly stop there! You have to write more... Maybe continue on to the funneral and even better you should write a scene with booth and bones actually dealing with his death instead of the waythey dealt with it in the show. I know I have read so many of those but I think you could do an amazing job with it because you write with so much detail and insight into what the charaters are feeling underneath everything. Love how you included "hot blooded" into the scene.
