This was a great story. Very well-written, with nice characterization and natural flowing dialogue. And very realistic. Somehow I, too, doubt that the Federation would grant custody to a hologram.

On another note, I agree with you about the Doctor. There seriously needs to be more fics about him. He was a fantastic character.

hi, I found this after your mash story. I'm so impressed with this one as well! The only character here I know is Janeway. But I understood the plot and I sympathized with the holograms. It was extremely well written. You have a gift of writing! hope to see more of you!

Oh, I love it. I always had a soft spot for the Doctor too, and I think you wrote him perfectly. Janeway, too, is right on the money - she would always go to bat for a member of her crew. great oneshot!

A brilliant friendship story, something that is totally believable and anyone could imagine happening between Janeway and The Doctor. It would of been a great episode addition.
