A great ending to a really warm and lovely story. It was nice to see Ray and Ben away from the usual crime setting, and the ranch really was perfect. Great job!

Agh! Poor Ben! But at least he's in good hands. It was so nice to see the relationship deepen between Ben and Ray's parents. Ben deserves to be a part of a big, loving family that he never had!

Ray gets a puppy! Ben gets sick - he should know better than to stay out in bad weather. But Ray's so good at taking care of him. I laughed about were his horses active. It's nice to see Ray doesn't know everything!

Ah! Ray is just a natural at the rodeo. I guess he's just a physically graceful guy, what with the dancing and all. I could just see him bullriding! I love the thought of him being the starring attraction at the bar on the mechanical bull. Very sexy!

New horses for Ray to take care of! I really like Ray's caring touch in this story. It's just what he needs to heal himself as well as other people. I like how accepting people are of Ray and Ben, too.

Yay! Love! They deserve each other. The reunion at the 27th was very nice. Of course Ray V would feel guilty. I love the little exchange about having to kill Kowalski if he doesn't make Benny happy, and "homicide will not be necessary." So Ray and Benny!

Aw, wow, I love the gentle, caring side of Ray. He's so good with children. You can just see that it's the kid who never grew up in him that speaks to them. Intriguing plot twist with Tara... very interesting.

Barefoot topless Ben can cook me breakfast any day. Especially hashbrowns and bacon, but hey, he could make me eat bran flakes and it'd still be all good! Poor Ray... they both have their stories of suffering to work through. But they're better with each other.

Poor Ben... I always thought it was hard the way he was treated by the RCMP. I could see him eventually being fed up enough just to quit. I definitely think an outdoor life would suit him. I love Ray trying to get Ben to get back in contact with Ray Vecchio. That's too good a friendship to let slip by.

Yay, AU! Well, that's off to a good start with Mickey being such a kindhearted person and taking care of our poor Ray, who seems to be in a bit of a state. And Diefenbaker being his usual adorable self.

i couldn't believe how close ray and fraser were to being actual partners years before they met.
