The concept of Angel becoming a woman alone would win you points, but the depth of thought you put into describing how this affects his/her relationship with Buffy and the gang...
INCREDIBLE, to say the least; the exploration of Angela’s inner torment as she’s caught between the woman she’s become and the man she still feels like inside was VERY well-described, particularly when it came to her relationship with Buffy.
And as for the Scooby Gang’s reactions to Angela...
An intriguing mixture of amusing, weird, and natural (Particularly in Xander’s case; he can barely tolerate Angel even now, but make the vampire with a soul a hot woman and he can barely see anything wrong).
And as for Buffy’s OWN thoughts about Angela...
Interesting leading, to say the least; while her feelings for ANGEL were very straightforward to express, with Angela, all she can really define them as at present is gratitude that at least one person in her ‘night life’ was on her side, hinting at the potential for stronger feelings even if she doesn’t consciously acknowledge them.
Keep up the great work; I am DEFINITELY going to enjoy this series!
(Just two queries; how did you get an idea for THIS story from watching ‘Tomb Raider’, and where did you get the image you used for ‘Angela’ for your artwork when this was on your site?)

Well, this was a wrinkle I wasn't expecting! Great variation though. It seems a shame that Darla died before letting Buffy know what "Angela" truly was. Perhaps it's a secret left for another time...
