I've only read a chapter and I already love love love your writing style.

"So what's it like?" Sayu prompted eagerly. "What do you do as a detective?"

L considered the question. "I eat a lot of cake," he decided.

This story definitely left me full of warmth and fuzzies. *hugs self, then hugs author* SO AWESOME. Thanks so much for posting this, I love it so much! :D

Matsuda held a prize of his own. "We have donuts!" he announced.

"And cake," L murmured, making a beeline for the table where Watari had set it down.

"And donuts," Matsuda maintained.

"And cake," L countered.

I've been grinning and smiling and "aww"ing all during these past few chapters. I adore this story. :3

Awww. Very cute story! Loved the utter humiliation inflicted on L and Light by their respective father-figures.

ok, so I know this story is almost two years old, but I just found it through someone else's favorites, and it's absolutely brilliant and adorable. I love how you portrayed their relationship and made it easy and free, while still amazingly in character. Instant fave.

And as for those "inquisitive children" L is used to, I think I know who they are ;)

I love the way you write. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed this yet, but I really loved it. Your analogies and metaphors are really funny, as are your interpretations of the characters (like Matsuda). But you didn't have them be out of character either. I liked it a lot. And Sayu is adorable.

Hey I'm not trying to mean by asking this and not leaving a real review but why would Watari have to ask about them using protection? I mean they're both guys so it's not like one of them is going to get pregnat(unless this was an mpreg story).
