hmm..If Vivio can bend and reform barriers and shields into different forms, it might be possible for her to form a type of bomb (wrap a volatile magic burst in a barrier and send it off) or a sword (bend it into a blade like shape around her arm or something). Could help her get around her offensive deficiency, but I'm not quite sure how to get her to deal with long range attackers...

Am I the only one who's laughing at the comments on chapter 1 saying how unfortunate Vivio was to be hit by AA attacks, only to be told in the next chapter they were C rank shots?

Anyway, Mini Cooper had it coming. Nice story, and keep it up.

This is interesting. Vivio's first mission! I like how Shelby doesn't look down on her, that's always nice. One thing I noticed is this typo in the beginning: "she was running at a flat-out spring" I think you meant sprint.

Will they one day call Vivio the Iron Wall or the Silver Shell? Wait, what is her color again? The spell she used to save the police officer was blue, but I think the rest of her stuff is either white like Hayate's or silver like Zafira's.

Assuming she ever has to refer to Yuuno, is she going to call him Yuuno-papa? I know you're trying to keep things ambiguous, but just because she thinks of him as a dad doesn't mean he lives with Nanoha.

Well, it's about time Graf Eisen and Vita got some fangirls. Why not start with her own student, right? Haha.

I enjoyed Vivio's intellect on the 'turtle' comment and how she turned it around so it would work in her favor; she's really very smart, and given a couple years she could be a true powerhouse, especially with the likes of Vita training her. The end was the real icing on the cake, though; just the kind of bickering and interaction I've come to expect and love between Vivio and her Vita-sensei. The two of them really are sweet together.

I eagerly wait to see if this will have another installation... and... I wonder, could I perhaps request something for your next omake? Unless you already have something planned out. ;;

Well, crap. Just when I thought the kid was going to make it out all right, too. But I guess she wouldn't be Nanoha's daughter without enduring some hardships of her own, eh?

That said, one character in paticular who stands out to be right now is Shelby. He geniunely seems like a nice guy, and I liked his little battle of wills about sending a kid like Vivio in as a decoy. I can just imagine the guilt he'll feel if Vivio is seriously hurt after this.

And as for that rogue, all I have to say is, he better not run into Fate and Nanoha while trying to escape. That wouldn't end well.
