Good bit of writing, I liked it.
The fact is, how would they capture voldemort? Even if it followed DH, a rebounded Killing curse and all that, Voldemort's Soul would escape again, or even worse fracture more and create another horcrux in one of the people in the hall. Ignoring the fact Harry wouldn't be confident since he knows the Horcruxes aren't all destroyed. They'd also throw him through the veil more likely than imprison him. It is a good alternate ending though, and proves the fact Horcrux!Nagini is a ridiculously stupid idea.

An interesting story. I don't think I've read anything quite like it.

There is a saying that love can kill just as much as hatred,it is even more so a terrific weapon, when used as such.
Contrarily to what most people believe Love is a nice and cool feeling it is a burning feeling runig through your veins, just as painful as wounds,an unstoppable river flooding everything on its path.
Despite of the fact I don't like maichean stories I think it is particulary fitting for Voldemort to be killed by Love.
"The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire."

Keep up the good work!

While we're at it I got to copmple an internship in a foreign country and I was wondering how expensive is the cost of life in autralia?and How much is worth the autralian currency in Euros? My cousin spent 6 month here for an intership and he spoke very hightly of your country I'm seriously considering going there.

;) I'll keep reading your fic, judgind by the quality of your fic I have no doubt someday you will publish a very good book!
All you need is time,imagination,and...a bit of luck. ^^

interesting... though the character selection should of been Harry and Voldemort but if you were going for he's actually name its not Tom R. Sr, thats his father... you ment Tom R. Jr.

Not your best effort, but it was an interesting idea. The only other story where I've seen Voldemort defeated but not killed was one by Nonjon.

- A/N - I wrote this thinking about Nagini being a poor choice for a Horcrux and also that Voldemort could be neutralised without being killed.

Nice job on both counts!

Again, you have written something with an order of magnitude greater win than the actual 7th book. My compliments.

Such a sad story but I do love the imagery; it's almost like I can imagine myself there...incidentally, since when did the review window for fanfiction become so snazzy?

Interesting, though not much of a plot. Your notes at the end deserve some comment. I always thought that Dumbledore's plan was beyond stupid. Even if he knew he nobody could kill Voldemort, he could have been imprisoned like the Lestranges. I agree that what you portrayed was appropriate. As for Nagini, well, even if she doesn't live forever, why wouldn't her corpse be just as valuble as a horcrux container as anything else? Buryed somewhere in an unmarked grave, or even in a muggle pet cemetary, it would be a good hiding place. Still, I am of the opinion that he'd have been better off making a horcrux out of an ordinary one pound coin and putting it into circulation. Or use a commerative coin and sell it. Of course, that would be asking for jokes about "selling his soul for immortality".

Nicely written scene. Slightly disappointing, but understandable, that Harry couldn't deliver justice in a professional manner.

I'm not so sure that Nagini couldn't have lasted for centuries as storybook snakes often do, including that overgrown garter from HP2.

Also that last line bumps me a little. History's worst villains *did* learn to love. Hitler, Stalin, FDR, Pol Pot, Obama, etc., all had/have people they cared about, and yet millions suffer(ed) at their hands.

Love is not a noble emotion at all, by itself. It needs to be tempered with reason, justice, and respect for strangers. A live and let live attitude.
