Great story! I haven't watched more than a few episodes of Numb3rs, so your story worked really well for me since I got to meet the Eppes family with Buffy!

I love the connections between the two of them, and the whole story works brilliantly.

You might want to mention precisely how you fudged the timeline at the beginning of Chapter 1. For example, if it's taking place in 1996 or whatever, instead of the canonical 1998 (btw, canonically Buffy arrived in Sunnydale in February or March of 1997). Yes, I have an obsession with timelines. You should see my own story notes!

You've probably been told this before, but canonically, Buffy's birthdate is the 19th January 1981. Which is why Season 2, year 1998, shows her seventeenth birthday. That was your other mistake - if this is post-S2, Buffy is seventeen, not sixteen.

Otherwise, really enjoying the story, and it's a wonderfully original concept. I'm going to read on.

Aww, that was a great story! You wrote the relationship between Buffy and Charlie well and decently. You didn't rush any part of the story. Everything flowed nicely.

I love this fic! I have never seen Numbers but this fic makes me want to! After Buffy and her take care of Kakistos are you going to have Faith end up moving to LA and helping Lily and Charlie? Its just that I could clearly see this happening in my head and I don't usually see story lines so clearly in my head any more so I thank you for writing something that inspires me to try to write again instead of just reading fic.
