I always wondered something. Was it ever specifically stated in the series that Zan was King of Antar first? Wow, that made no sense, let me rephrase. Was Zan King of Antar and married Ava making her Queen or was Ava Queen and married Zan making him King? Was it ever actually stated? I know Zan was Prince at some point (but was he THE prince or A prince?). The thing that made me think of this was when Larek and Max are at the summit he says I knew you long before you were King. That made me wonder whether he was made a King by someone else, Ava. That would be an interesting twist lol. Great story :)

This is a great story. This chapter kinda reminded me of something I learned in my history class today. Apparently Princess Di was more royal than her husband. I'm not sure exactly how, something about being a more direct decendent of someone. If both Zan and Ava died and Tess went back and claimed the throne, if they were in a situation like Di's, then I don't think Max could reclaim the throne if it was taken up by someone with a better claim to it. And besides, it's not like Michael could claim it because he was never King/Queen lol. I don't know if that's where you're going with this or not, just me rambling about history lol. But Max is a jerk and I hope someone stops him from taking the throne. I don't believe Liz or Maria wouldn't stop him, after all Alex gave up everything to help Tess. By Max taking that away it's basically insulting Alex and given their loyalty to him, I think they should be the ones to stop him...and Isabel. I hope he is stopped. He's a jerk.

Interesting twist. I wonder why Tess ran away the day before she got married. I think Max has lost his mind. He abadoned his people and Tess and Alex has done so much to save them and make the country properous. Although he is the King by birth, he isn't the King now, and I hope the people do not accept him.

Can't wait to see what's next.

That bastard!! I cannot believe Max! He goes from not wanting anything to do with being alien for his entire life and NOW he wants to be king? I really, really, really hope that Liz does something decent for once and puts her foot down about not wanting to be Queen. I hope she can see that everything Tess and Alex did was for everyone and not to take away all their hard work and make their sacrifices all for nothing. That's probably the only way that he would leave the throne alone, that or maybe Michael defending Tess? idk, your call. Love this story! So glad you updated it, update soon!

Alex is King! It was so worth the wait just for that sentence. Why can't Alex and Tess get married? Will Max be jealous? So many questions, none of which can be answered without another chapter. Have mercy on me.

OHMYGOD! Alex is King! Yes! YES! YES! Woo hoo! I'm so happy. Normally I'm not an Alex/Tess shipper but I love this story. I really want to know what happens. Where is Alex? Is he coming back now that Tess found the others? Is he going to prove to Michael that he isn't brainwashed? How is Max going to react to the news that Alex is king now? I mean, he deserves that swift kick in the @$$. He turned his back on his people and repeatedly gave up his claim to the crown, so he really can't say anything about it. Long live King Alex! UPDATE SOON!

Oh! I love that part about "someone implanted a bomb inside him, then gave him a cookie and said ‘It’s Chocolate Chip! Have a nice last meal"! I think I died laughing :)

So it is Kivar and Nicholas who has him. You can tell he and Tess really care for one another.

I don't know what Max thinks he is saying. he was never the King because he didn't want to be, so now he has no rights to anything. I am glad Alex is the King.

words cannot express.. ugh, i'm so glad you updated! the last line to this chapter was amazing, and so unexpected, but i can't deny how i happy i was to see max put in his place. i hate when he throws that 'king' card. it will be interesting to read the others (max included) reactions to this new revelation. i can't for an update.

Poor Tess, what Kyle said must have hurt. As i said, I hope she doesn't forgive any of them soon. I can't wait for her and Alex to eventually be reunited and the others see how much of a family they are with Alexandra and Zan.
