Once burnt, twice shy, eh? One can't help but wonder how aware Tachibana is of the effect he still has on Ono - Chikage, presumably, wouldn't notice even if Ono were to be a great deal more obvious about it than he was, but Tachibana - well, one wonders. (Or I do, at any rate.)

I liked this glimpse into Ono's mind, and his musing on Tachibana's reaction to Chikage's child-like-ness. (He's probably right about Tachibana's reaction to *Ono* acting like a child, though.)

I really liked this small piece, you seemed to pick up Ono's character really well. I personally wished the ending of the series had turned out a little differently, but I guess one could always speculate. Poor Ono.
