And though I am a fan of Sarah Palin, I loved how you incorporated making fun of her into the fic (come on, it IS Alec and Tina). You do something I call "Tasteful Bashing", or making fun of her and not offending anybody. This could get you far in the comedy buisness (maybe as high as SNL). If you decide to pursue that career. lol. :)

This was amazing. Absolutely hilarious, and so spot-on with all the characterizations (even Jenna, in Liz's recollection) that it's almost too good to be true.

What's really interesting to me is that you really capture the feel of the show in story version. The pacing and the humor really feel like 30 Rock, and that's a tough thing to do in a different format like this.

One of the many high points: "Which, that’s just skills." I don't know why, but that tickled me.

You say you usually stay away from 30 Rock fanfic, but I'm here to plead with you to stay decidedly near it. Please write many more of them. I can deal with the feelings of inadequacy. :) It'd be more than worth it.

amazing. you nailed this- i am completely envious of the mad-voice-capturing skills you show here, because damn, you really captured the feel of the show. even down to Liz's thoughts on jean pockets, and the If Michael Jackson Was a Pigeon sketches occurring to her, and the Lady jedi thoughts!- you get in her head incredibly well, and the dialogue is just, well, wow. i didn't think the 1st episode of the 3rd season even aired till next week, but this really makes me want to watch it, asap. great work! :D

I gotta agree with the reviewer before me. This was a totally believable effort :) Every line of dialog works and the way you get in their heads with the omnipotent perspective makes for some astoundingly hilarious scenarios.

I, for one, don't want to come near 30Rock fanfics within a 10 foot pole, simply because of the reasons you just mentioned. Structure, I found, is the one thing that can ruin a good story in this fandom, since the show itself seems to have a lot of 'WTF?!' random moments. It's a delicate balance between bursts of randomness, witty dialog and an actual storyline that makes this story of yours work so nicely and so realistically.

I APPLAUD you!
