I... can't believe I've never reviewed this. I'm bad. I was just recommending this to a friend as the best HxH fiction I have ever seen, hands down, and I looked through the reviews to see how long it had been since I reviewed it and... Well, here you go. I am in awe of this fic. You nailed their relationship, its evolution and shanging stages while remaining the center point of their lives. I particularly like how you wrote the introduction to Ging. I'm sad you never wrote more for these two, but hey, this says it all. :)

The ending made it perfect. So utterly perfect. These kind of drabbles are the best :) Wish there are much more KilluaxGon stories that are good like yours.

This, by far, is the best description for the duo I've see in fanfiction. GREAT WORK.

Still absolutely brilliant. Still inspires me to be a better writer. Still one of my favorite stories ever, and not just because it's about some of my favorite characters. I rather suspect it always will be.

The whole-concept of this was interesting; snapshots of their lives each year, and you have a pleasant writing style, and oh, god, the line "But much later, he figures out that somehow, somewhere, it'd become all about Killua anyway." hits me in such a way-

you know what? i rarely read fics outside weiss. but i liked this. really did. simple, easy, beautiful. :)

I haven't been a part of the HxH fandom for years now (actually, I was never too into HxH fanwork, for some reason), but this just reminded me so much of all the awesome things I loved about that series. The way Killua and Gon's relationship is so pure and so natural is a huge part of it, and this fic brought back that feeling in an overwhelming tidal wave. Words can't properly express the warm feelings this story brings me. I adore the part about them seeing Ging, and the first kiss-I can't imagine it happen any other way.

I really hope you don't mind that I review this so often, but every time I go back a reread it I feel the need to tell you just how brilliant and perfect it is. Thank you again for writing it.

It's a little hard to put my reaction to this into words (though I've probably tried before given how often I read this story). It stays in my head long after I've read it, and makes me smile every time I think of it. It is perfectly them, and I can't think of anything better to say of it than that. Thank you for writing it.
