Lori, read this the other night and really liked it. Lorelai is a little devil but it is really great that she wanted to start bonding more with Emily, especially now that she is an empty nester. I don't know if I am really on board with the haunted house way of doing it. I know that Lorelai wanted something that was different, crazy. A type of fun that Emily might have done in her younger day and it did fit in with Halloween...Hmm... okay I guess I am a bit more on board then I thought I was. haha. But not really there with her beating the people up. I did like the story though. I like the fun side of your writing as well. You should do more fun stories.

I like this one shot a lot. You have really your skills writing about Emily and Lorelai. It's good that Lorelai needs a bigger connection with her mother and Emily needs it too. I loved Richard helping Lorelai through the surprise's organization. It's really funny reading about daughter-father complicity. I loved Emily's reaction... she deserved a bit of fun...
