I've still got a lot more to read, and it might be a bit early to be hating on Liz but I can't help it.
I'm sure there will be a "logical" reason for how she ended up with Edward, but I don't know if i can be sorry for her when i find out what that reason is.

The skirt on Bella’s outfit was a tad bit longer than Alice’s and I knew why, but when I saw Bella in her costume for the first time I’m sure I grinned like the horny teenage boy that I was. Actually, I know I did because Charlie actually spotted me staring and smacked me in the back of the head. “Stop drooling at my daughter in front of me,” he warned. “It’s a whole entire level of weird that I can’t handle right now.”

Great chapter. I really like how you throw in some sarcasm and jokes when Edward is feeling uncomfortable. I guess we all have our coping mechanisms. I like how we are completely overlooking the fact that one of them, Jasper I think, is highly allergic to cats. Unless I missed the subtle this-cat-is-hypoallergenic. LOL. I proly did... plus I think it was mentioned the kitty will stay in Edward's room although I've never seen a cat confined to one or two rooms of a house. Moving on, I thought the gift exchange was lovely and really sweet. It's nice to see happy times for the crew after such angst. Glad to see the update. Wonder what their plans for New Year's are... smexin' times are upon us I hope.
