Phoenix.G.Fawkes 2008-11-12 . chapter 1They're both so very in character, especially Delilah with her fake sweetness, forever the hypocrital martyr and her ** behind other people's backs. Can you tell how much I do not like her? Nevertheless she makes an interesting character to read about and it's so easy to see Di's utter fascination with her as something else, because she was once so infatuated with her that it's not hard to believe that some feelings remain.
"She took Delilah's money and bid her goodbye, stiff and formal, all for the fear of falling."
I particularly like the last section of that sentence, it has certain musicality, like a melody. All in all, a beautiful vignette. |
