Well, this certainly is a fun story to read! I love reading interpretations on how AUTO would react to being awake again and what he would be doing, and this is the most optimistic yet and mimics the tone of the movie. I love Hannah's book in the beginning and there's just enough comedy and friendship going around that I can both sympathize and encourage AUTO; usually reactivation stories only give you sympathy.

What both discourages and amuses me is that the last time you updated was on my birthday, 1-17-09. Please update, because this story is worth spending time on and I really enjoy reading it.

And the autopilot truly begins to learn what it is like to live.
To experience emotion, empathy, and so many other good things that make one human.
It's a real turning point, and I think it can onlyget better.

I'm glad to see that the Captain hasn't given up on the Autopilot.
He understands what Auto did was because that was what he saw as right, it was what he was programmed to do.
Giving Auto a second chance, it allows the robot to experience what it was that the Captain came to realize to long ago.
"I don't want to survive! I want to LIVE."
