I'm not saying he doesn't kick or anything -- but this IS a parody fic, and therefore I thought his effeminateness (because geez, he IS femmy) would be amusing to exaggerate/make fun of. Tumbleweed 2001-11-29 ch 1,	abuseWell, for starters, I'd like to note one major thing: I don't like Yaoi/Slash. At all. It's not on account of the homosexuality, really. The reason why I don't care for this genre involves the 'Themeliness' (or, more accurately, the lack therof) that entails it. More often than not, the pairings in such stories just don't seem to work, when the theme itself is considered, instead favoring a bunch of sappy romantic cliche's. And yet, I went ahead and read 'Kiss in the Dark' anyway, either due to my own devilish curiosity or the lure of the 'Humor/Parody' bit in the summary, I read. And I was again reminded why the term 'Yaoi' makes me cringe. Though I admit, Sol's character is fairly well written, and some the Dialogue is fairly entertaining. However (I'm not a Guilty-Gear theme expert: My 'Expert' title's reserved to the Transformers, so I could be wrong here) you write Ky effeminately. -REALLY- Effeminately. ** as a thirteen of Spades effeminately. Even though Ky is French, (and therefore, a dork) he still managed to be tough enough to become the Leader of the Sacred Knights, worthy of toting around a priceless and powerful magical blade. As a result, I'd think that he'd deserve a -little- more credit. Of course that's just my own opinion: I could be wrong.
