What the? I could have sworn I left a review for this! I was pleasantly surprised and grateful to see more of Dom's character in Gears 2. That scene literally made me tear up pretty badly. There is a nice "civilian" feel to this piece. It's nice to see the other sides of our favorite soldiers like what they would be like away from battle. Nice read. Thanks!

With Gears 2 right around the corner and more to be learned about Dom and Maria's relationship, I thought that this was very well done. I didn't catch any grammatical errors--as if they matter much--and the story seemed real. I have no constructive criticism to give...I can't think of anything to criticize. This is a great read!
