To answer your question on Chinese...because 8 sounds similar to "fa" in catonese, and the word "fa" means wealthy...I think it is the same in Mandarin?..."ba" and "fa" sounds...a bit similar. But I am sure about the cantonese, coz its my first spoken language.

...yes, i suppose that have over 100 reviews for a series of one-shots would be disconcerting...and definitely worth being the cause of a spit-take (or a near one, as is). the only thing i have to say (other than to figuratively sing your praises) is that you may wish to consider having all the segments of 'a slight alteration' formed into a separate fic, since it appears that this is going to be quite a long one...either that, or this is a plot bunny problem big enough to give the Guardian of the Cave of Caer Banu a run for its money. (ie. infamous rabbit from monty python and the holy grail...probably a good form for hani's boggart, should he ever see the movie...)

The bit about memory charms was a fascinating idea. And I love the idea of Takashi and Hani as Kenpachi and Yachiru XD

The fight scene with Bellatrix was great! :) And it's interesting to know that Takashi is interested in Harry, too! :) But please post the next part before September 1st! (or August 31st) I'll be unable to read it for awhile, otherwise, I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out on the 31st and will be too out of it to do anything in the next couple of days after!
