bhoney 12/5/08 . chapter 1"Dean-the-checker-piece was captured and laid aside for a time, deep in the darkness of the empty box, but then he was brought back to crown another piece. Now a king, he had more power, but he was still just part of the game, still just a tool used for someone else’s purpose. He had been one all his life, though, so this didn’t really bother him." This was a really fabulous analogy for Dean's time in Hell and resurrection. Loved Dean's response: “What can I say? You’re a freaking giant. I bet you scare lots of people without meaning to, never mind a guy out of his mind with some kind of death flu.” LOL I knew he was lying though, to make Sam feel better. |
PADavis 11/22/08 . chapter 1I've been reading through your SN fic and just blown out of the water, over and over. Clarity and Ad Aeterno crazy good, I even read the SG crossovers which is weird since I don't watch that show. Almost caught up I think - I read Teenie Weenie and laughed out loud - the bit about the relative size of mouse genetalia almost put me over the edge. Read and reviewed Fire on Both Sides earlier I thin, will check, but what got me started was No Words For This. I'll review that when I get back up to the top. This is such a gem, just achingly good. Between demonic Sam, hell, chesspieces, blowing bubbles and Castiel's double edged sword, I can't tell what I liked best. Beautifully done. Phoebe |
iluvaqt 11/6/08 . chapter 1Brilliantly written and could fit neatly into canon right now. It could explain why Dean keeps seeing Sam as a demon in waking nightmares. It could have been part of his torment in hell. The characterizations and imagery were superb. I loved the way you described Castiel touching Dean. |
hermitme 11/3/08 . chapter 1 Great writing! I love your imagery. Nice story and would love to see this on the screen. You don't happen to have Kripke's address that you can mail it to, do you? :D |
InSecret 11/1/08 . chapter 1Aw Dean :( I liked this a lot. All of it, but my favourite lines were these: "Fire was the womb that birthed their family, back when Dean was four. The years before that had only been a prelude to real life; he understood that now." So poignant. Lovely work :) |
Linnie McCary 11/1/08 . chapter 1Dean-the-checker-piece? Brilliant! |
trecebo 11/1/08 . chapter 1See, the benefit for me, since I don't actually watch the show, is that this is what I know. So keep up the great work! Bwahahaha! Yaes, I do luff th' fanfeection ver muchly. |
