*nods* very good start! I must admit that the title did make me chuckle. Why, I don't know. I'm just weird like that I guess! :) I had no problem at all suspending disbelief until, oddly enough, I saw the word "Texas". It's only mentioned the one time in the summary and twice in the story itself but my brain just seemed to falter upon seeing it, kinda like hitting a pothole on the highway and feeling your car jerk momentarily out of control. *shakes head to clear it* Again, maybe I'm just weird like that. I guess my brain isn't willing (yet) to accept that alchemy can happen in Texas! XD I doubt that that will be a problem later on as we get more and more into the story. :) Ed and Roy as cowboys...the mind boggles! LOL! very original concept! :)
