I love reading peoples interpretations of characters from cartoons and the like from childhood, It's always fascinating to see how a writer chooses to make the stories grow and mature as they themselves have. Sadly some people over compensate and go too far trying to be adult with the subject matter, but you haven't fallen into this trap and thats really wonderful.

I enjoy how you write Gadget and Penny's relationship here it's tinged with saddness, but none the less remains playful and loving. You've really fleshed out the characters and yet remained true to the core of them, even Gadget's competance here seems satisfying (Gadget will always be a bit of a klutz, but there was only so much of that was enjoyable in the old toon).

Sad to see it's not recieved more reviews, but I figured I'd rectify this and add one of my own :)

Cool story. Could you please write another fanfic about Inspector Gadget suffers from depression-induced deadly gadget malfunction that kills people (he was crying too loud and powerful that bleeds their ears) but his depression can also drain his energy, damage his heart rate, and shut down his programming just like depression itself can cause a heart attack and post it at w now? Okay?
