Ah, Norse mythology! I'm writing this story called Valhalla so every time I see "Odin" or "valkyries" or "Ragnarök," it just jumps out and drags me by the collar to click. Very sweet, sentimental ficlet. "He made a mental note to come back with a tranquilizer and get a closer look at them." -- made me laugh out loud. It's so "a little boy wanting to find out how things tick" that it's a perfect window into Heero's character post-war. None of that suicidal, perfect soldier nonsense. Great job!
